SULPHUR(IV) OXIDATION BY OXYGEN IN THE PRESENCE OF COBALT(II) IONS IN ATMOSPHERIC WATERS

摘要: The paper presents results of study on catalytic effect Co(II) ions the oxidation S(IV) in aqueous solutions. Laboratory experiments were carried out at concentrations reactants and pH found atmospheric waters heavily pol luted atmospheres. kinetic law parameters, i.e. observed rate constant reaction order with respect to concentration, determined. Depending initial solution ion rates range between 2.2·10 -8 -1.6·10 -5 mol·dm -3 ·s -1 . obtained show that an 3.5- 5.0 activity is slight it becomes significant 6.0.
