摘要: This article presents a novel multi-mode microstrip resonator. Using the even-odd-mode method, its resonance characteristics are analyzed and design graphs given. Each mode equivalent circuit is λ/4 stepped impedance resonator SIR, so proposed has compact size higher harmonics can be tuned in wide range. Stub-stub coupling introduced to split two identical modes produce transmission zeros TZs. Then tri-band filter operating at 1.5, 2.4, 3.8 GHz designed using The three center frequencies bandwidths independently controlled. By tuning length ratios of stubs, upper stopband achieved.
