摘要: Renal replacement therapy (RRT) is complicated by a chronic state of inflammation and high mortality risk. However, different RRT modalities can have selective impact on markers oxidative stress. We evaluated the levels active matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-9 in patients undergoing two types dialysis (high-flux (HFD) on-line hemodiafiltration (OL-HDF)) kidney transplantation (KT) recipients. Active MMP-9 was measured zymography ELISA before (pre-) after (post-) one session, at baseline follow-up (7 14 days, 1, 3, 6, 12 months) KT. decreased post-dialysis only HFD patients, while OL-HDF were already lower dialysis. increased 7 days post-KT restored to three months post-KT, coinciding with an improvement renal function plasma creatinine. correlated pulse pressure as indicator arterial stiffness both KT In conclusion, better controlled than along stabilization parameters might act biomarker RRT.
