Spin-lattice correlation in Eu3+ doped antiferromagnet TmFeO3.

摘要: We report the physical properties of Eu-doped bulk TmFeO3 through X-ray diffraction, magnetic susceptibility (χ), Raman scattering and absorption spectroscopy (XAS) study, which shows a similar orthorhombic structure with Pbnm space group as TmFeO3. Magnetic measurement on provides evidence for spin reorientations Fe3+. Further, spectra Eu3+ doped show significant changes in modes function temperature, are strong spin–lattice interaction. From XAS spectra, L-edge Fe information valence state Fe, whereas K-edge oxygen that compound has influence hybridization O(2p) 3d states Fe.
