摘要: First and second-generation photosensitizers for Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) are in clinical trials, with a few approved application. While effective, several drawbacks have remained unaddressed that could increase the impact of PDT as an efficient therapy, including lack selectivity to diseased tissue, toxicity, low moderate light absorption, poor solubility sensitizers results bioavailability. It’s likely new generation must be developed improve on these shortcomings. In this review, we summarize our progress development Conjugated Polymer Nanoparticles next nanotherapeutic (PDT). We show their unprecedented ROS generation, high level targeted delivery selective uptake, absence dark toxicity percentage induced cell mortality observed indicate promising sensitizer. The simple design ease fabrication holds promise broad applicability.
