摘要: Hydropeaking flow fluctuations can affect aquatic fauna in various ways, depending on the river's morphological characteristics. We have developed a method for quantifying hydropeaking events by drawing up hydrosignatures. In given flow, hydrosignature quantifies hydraulic diversity any area/part of space defined either volume or area percentages depth and current velocity cross grid. When two-dimensional model is available, reach, comparative index be calculated between present time step initial hydrosignature, two hydrosignatures separated constant interval. This useful to determine where major changes occurred along river, classify intensities. approach used analyse level transformation an entire reach but does not focus sides channel inhabited juvenile fish, which are particularly exposed effects fluctuations. Juvenile habitats suitability indexes attributed classes hydrosignatures. The total weighted usable habitat at all steps simulation partitioning mesh into classes. An damage populations then calculating maximum change observed during event.
