摘要: We isolated and characterized mutants of Bartonella bacilliformis that are resistant to the fluoroquinolone antibiotic ciprofloxacin, which targets A subunit DNA gyrase. Mutants had single point mutations in gyrA gene changed either Asp-90 Gly or Asp-95 Asn 3- 16-fold higher resistance, respectively, ciprofloxacin than did wild-type B. bacilliformis. is homologous Asp-87 Escherichia coli GyrA a common residue mutated fluoroquinolone-resistant strains other bacteria.
