摘要: In this study, corrosion performances of the Pb-MnO2 composite in a sulfuric acid electrolyte solution at wide range anodic potentials were investigated. The protective effects manganese ions as an additive to also studied. An industrially supplied PbAg alloy was examined some cases and obtained results used benchmarks for comparison. Oxidation these materials properties formed layers using electrochemical techniques including impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, potentiostatic polarization, linear sweep voltammetry. Scanning electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy characterize layers. presence MnO2 particles caused open-circuit potential lead increase from PbSO4 region PbO region, contributing different composition layer higher charge transfer resistances corrosion...
