摘要: Abstract Glucose concentration in peripheral blood increased transiently intact male and female river lampreys ( Lampetra fluviatilis L.) at the time of spermiation ovulation, from 20–30 mg/100 ml to about 35 spite constant conditions (11° darkness). A transfer 11° 6 or 16° caused hyperglycemia after 24 hr, but 1 week glucose concentrations were not different initial values. Various insulin preparations used (Ultralente, zinc-protamin-insulin, Actrapid an acid solution beef insulin) doses 0.03 0.8 IU/animal (about 60 g). The minimum dose causing hypoglycemia (after hr) is 0.04 IU. With 0.1 IU maximal response was found between 8 hr injection. Insulin had only slightly greater more prolonged action hypophysectomized than lampreys, both before during period sexual maturation. pro- mesoadenohypophysis thus exert a slight anti-insulin effect. dose-related increase length body lampreys. procedure for sampling, especially anesthesia, sexually immature lower less long lasting Maximal 2 hr. are little importance stress hyperglycemia.
