摘要: Noni (Morinda citrifolia) is a popular medicinal plant of family Rubiaceae. Its fruit rich in various phytochemicals and polysaccharides. Anecdotal evidence indicates that it was used to stimulate the immune system and, thus, fight infections. Limited vitro studies also support immunomodulatory role Noni, however only one study utilized an animal model. The purpose this examine properties broiler chicken. Different concentrations dietary were added diets fed day-old chickens for 3 6 weeks. Gut tissue blood sampled determine expression selected genes, concentration immunoglobulins α1-acid glycoprotein. results showed at 6% increased Toll like receptor -4 (TLR-4) TLR-5, chemokine (IL-8), interleukin-12 (IL-12), decreased IL-6 TLR-7. At 4% concentration, stimulated TLR-3. Increased TLR-3, TLR-4 TLR-5 indicate antiviral antibacterial fruits are further strengthened by IL-12 IL-8. Decreased anti-inflammatory Noni. However, did not have effects on serum gut or glycoprotein concentration. Further investigations will be necessary explore active ingredients their immunity during viral bacterial
