摘要: This work has been carried out to apply Fletcher Reeves, Quasi-Newton, BOX, SQP, and Mixed optimization algorithms estimate the optimum operating parameters required for achievement of high purities trans-2-butene trans-2-hexene respectively as top bottom products using olefin metathesis process occurring in a reactive packed distillation column. The was modeled optimized with aid Aspen HYSYS. model had trans-2-pentene feed stream containing 1 ppm each flowing at rate 35 mL/min into column temperature 298.15 K pressure 1.125 bar. results obtained from optimizations revealed that constrained better than unconstrained one this because, single objective out, were desired. It discovered algorithm best among considered because it able give reflux ratio 2.50, flow 43.75 reboiler duty 0.28 kW yielded mole fraction value 1.0000 0.9422 products,
