摘要: The cloning, characterization and developmental expression patterns of two novel murine Hox genes, Hox-4.6 Hox-4.7, are reported. Structural data allow us to classify the four Hox-4 genes located in most upstream (5') position HOX-4 complex as members a large family homeogenes related Drosophila homeotic gene Abdominal B (AbdB). It therefore appears that these vertebrate derived from selective amplification an ancestral which gave rise, during evolution, posterior insect so far described. In agreement with structural colinearity, have very posteriorly restricted profiles. addition, their is temporally regulated according cranio-caudal sequence parallels physical ordering along chromosome. We discuss phylogenetic alternative evolution genetic complexity by amplifying either or regulatory sequences, exemplified this system mouse Drosophila. Furthermore, possible role 'temporal colinearity' ontogeny all coelomic (metamerized) metazoans showing temporal anteroposterior morphogenetic progression addressed.
