摘要: Background: Mechanically ventilated patients have an increased risk of complications leading to ventilation weaning more difficult resulting in excessive morbidity and mortality. Chest physiotherapy plays important role management patients. However, these techniques been studied on as a single entity or with combination two techniques. The present study was designed evaluate the effect multimodality chest rate recovery prevention adult Materials Methods: Out 173 who were randomly allocated groups, 86 received MH suctioning control group 87 treated twice daily till they extubated. All followed up for global outcomes during mechanical ventilation. Results: There significant improvements terms compared ( P = 0.000). Complication rates higher 61.6% 26.4% group. Duration hospitalization longer (16 ± 9.40 days) (12.8 6.12 days). Successful from noted 58 24 which statistically significant. Conclusions: Multi-modality protocol has shown prevent ventilator-associated pneumonia enhance clinical outcome may be recommended treatment option ICU. It also process proved safe.
