摘要: Communicating science in the public policy domain requires navigating tension between two features of good practice modern making: developing evidence based approaches and inclusive deliberative processes. Results policy-making processes that have sought to maximize these different perspectives parallel been will continue be disappointing. Ensuring “quality” supporting integration kinds inputs decision-making process nimble astute brokers who undertake knowledge brokering, reconcile ways knowing, recognize when reconciliation is not achievable and/or desirable.
