摘要: Agitation with glass beads, electroporation and microparticle bombardment are all used to transfer exogenous genes into unicellular eukaryotic algae (microalgae). For nuclear transformation most researchers use beads techniques or, a lesser extent, electroporation, while for chloroplast is often used. Glass bead agitation require the removal of cell wall can be performed intact microalgae. Chlamydomonas reinhardtii has been microalga commonly transformed, but success also reported Volvox carteri, Chlorella spp., Dunaliella salina, Haematococcus pluvialis, Euglena gracilis, diatoms (Phaeodactylum tricornutum, Navicula saprophila, Cyclotella cryptica Thalassiosira weissflogii), dinoflagellates (Amphidinium klebsii Symbiodinium microadriaticum) red (Porphyridium spp Cyanidioschyzon merolae). The first C. transformants produced by making Agrobacterium tumefaciens have reported. A comparison above methods might help provide information necessary successfully transform further microalgal species. Additional key words: particle bombardment,
