摘要: The FAMA-NCS protocol is introduced for wireless LANs and ad-hoc networks that are based on a single channel asynchronous transmissions (i.e., no time slotting). (for floor acquisition multiple access with non-persistent carrier sensing) guarantees sender able to send data packets free of collisions given receiver at any time. three-way handshake between in which the uses sensing transmit request-to-send (RTS) sends clear-to-send (CTS) lasts much longer than RTS serve as “busy tone” forces all hidden nodes back off long enough allow collision-free packet arrive receiver. It shown needed support presence terminals when RTSs asynchronously. throughput analyzed single-channel without terminals; analysis shows performs better ALOHA, CSMA, prior proposals collision avoidance dialogues (e.g., MACA, MACAW, IEEE 802.11 DFWMAC) terminals. Simulation experiments used confirm analytical results.
