Ichthyofauna of the Turkish parts of Kura-Aras River Basin

摘要: The Kura and Aras rivers are largest of the Caucasus rising from Turkey flowing through Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan Iran, draining to Caspian Sea. This study was carried out at 19 sampling sites along entire basin between years 2014 2015 in order describe diversity ichthyofauna Kura-Aras River Basin. Fish were collected with use an electrofishing device streams gill nets lakes. A total fish species observed period. Based on previous studies sampled during period, we document presence 32 belonging 11 families living Turkish part basin. Of these, 23 endemic Sea basins, not found any other river basins Turkey.
