摘要: A simple analytical model, based on the concept that constraining plies surrounding cracks through thickness of a given ply or control spacing those by controlling stress state, appears to agree well with experimental data. Such model can be used evaluate critically various constraint situations including prediction ability layer arrest flaw development. The which uses an equilibrium element approach in present case, is sensitive lamina and laminate elastic properties, size, stacking sequence, interlaminar transfer distance estimated from observations. analysis easily extended study growth plastic region formation.
