Enhanced photocatalytic hydrogen evolution from water by niobate single molecular sheets and ensembles

摘要: We report single molecular sheets of niobate prepared by a simple bottom-up approach using hydrothermal synthesis niobium ethoxide with the aid triethanolamine as structural modifier: high kinetic stability these entities against self-assembly allows them to mix well other colloids and facilitates their extensive electronic interactions thus photocatalytic hydrogen evolution activity from water is much enhanced over composite graphene MoS2 due efficient electron transfer charge separation.
