摘要: Outdoor culture of the thermophilic cyanobacterium Synechocystis aquatilis SI-2 with a vertical flat-plate photobioreactor (VFPP) was studied during period January to August 1999 in northern region Japan (Kamaishi, Iwate, 39°N, 142°E). The aim this study investigate CO2 fixation ability VFPP device under various irradiation conditions. An average biomass productivity over 30 g m–2 day–1, which corresponds rate 50 achieved 192-l scale culture. effects on light path, height reactor, cell concentration and were also investigated. Variation optimal achieve highest for outdoor operation is discussed. A 1–2 l–1 found be most suitable range 1–12 MJ day–1 experimental conditions used.
