摘要: Purpose of Review—The regulatory lipids are a class bioactive which regulate various important biological processes. Profiling these is an attractive method to understand the role metabolites. This especially true since most derived from several pharmacological targets: cyclooxygenase (COX), lipoxygenase (LOX), and cytochrome P450 enzymes. review highlights development methods profile recent publications employing profiling methods. Recent findings—The for target two different directions: expand coverage discovery studies (fingerprinting) make quantitative more accurate, sensitive, faster diagnostic or detailed studies. applications including assessment in vivo drug engagement, pathways crosstalk, possible mechanisms side effects withdrawn antiinflammatory drug-Rofecoxib also reviewed here. Summary—The useful tool many investigations. The breadth coverage, throughput limits with detection, reproducibility quantitation being improved. resulting data will assist fundamental investigation, disease biomarker discovery, development.
