摘要: Abstract The effect of carbon deposition on the long-term stability Ni/SiO2 catalyst during methanation reaction was studied in this work. For a conventional prepared by impregnation method, it found that water-gas shift (WGSR) as one side took place Ni(1 0 0) planes predominately and followed carboxyl mechanism under present condition. inhabitation WGSR could produce carbonyl species surface which initiated deactivation derived catalyst. Comparatively, co-impregnation nickel nitrate dicyandiamide molecules SiO2 support did not markedly change defect sites metallic Ni0 particles, however, favorable to deposit trace pyrrolic nitrogen containing Ni(1 1 1) planes. Such allowed electron transfer from atoms planes, leading more active available for Ni(1 1 1). This facilitated occurrence rather than significantly reduced pre-deposited As result, method has better reaction.
