摘要: Long-distance propagation of intense laser pulse in air is reconsidered analytically by generalizing the analogy between spotsize and orbit a classical particle. It shown that multiphoton ionization introduces unique features to laser-air interaction, thereby enabling long-distance behavior. Several interesting characteristics latter are pointed out.
