摘要: OBJECTIVE Evaluation of breast lesions detected by MR alone is a problem: Preoperative MR-guided localization difficult, since the not accessible needle within coil. Magnetic resonance-guided core biopsy and aspiration are impossible. Together with Siemens Erlangen, prototype coil has been developed tested. MATERIALS AND METHODS The device consists circular polarized coil, which contains two plates for mediolateral compression. They perforated numerous holes thus allow access to from both sides. By means bushings, fit into holes, sterile insertion in horizontal path possible. RESULTS So far, precise possible 10 11 lesions, allowing exact 5 invasive carcinomas (1 MR-detected), 1 MR-detected additional focus, 2 situ 3 benign lesions. CONCLUSION Our studies show that
