Bio-friendly synthesis of ZnO nanoparticles in aqueous solution at near-neutral pH and low temperature

摘要: ZnO nanoparticles are synthesized using a new bio-friendly method. The experimental conditions very mild: aqueous solution at near-neutral pH and 37 degrees C. as-obtained show the stable wurtzite structure without need of annealing. two reagents used solutions zinc nitrate buffer tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane. This is standard nontoxic inert to wide variety chemicals biomolecules, therefore extremely satisfactory for biochemical reactions. Furthermore, this polydentade ligand which adsorbs strongly on one or more surfaces inhibiting its crystal growth yielding nearly spherical nanoparticles. Our objective use crystallization method described here further incorporation biomolecules as additives in reaction solution, aiming formation with physical properties.
