摘要: Abstract Aims We examined whether problem-solving and diabetes self-management behaviors differ by depression diagnosis – major depressive disorder (MDD) minor (MinDD) in adults with Type 2 (T2DM). Methods screened a clinical sample of 702 T2DM for depression, identified 52 positive 51 negative individuals, performed structured diagnostic psychiatric interview. MDD (n = 24), MinDD (n = 17), no (n = 62) were diagnosed using Diagnostic Statistical Manual Mental Disorders IV (DSM-IV) Text Revised criteria. Health Problem-Solving Scale (HPSS) Summary Diabetes Self-Care Activities (SDSCA) questionnaires determined skills, respectively. compared HPSS SDSCA scores diagnosis, adjusting age, sex, race, duration, linear regression.
