摘要: Funding projects to improve the intermodal connectivity between surface transportation system and airports is often complicated by need draw on a range of different funding programs sources, each with their own project eligibility requirements regulations. This paper presents findings two case studies for airport ground access in United States, one which was recently completed while other currently under construction. The first study examines strategy developed Miami Intermodal Center, major facility adjacent International Airport that includes consolidated rental car center, parking, station regional long-distance trains, an extension Metro rail station, bus automated people-mover link airport. second plan development 3.2-mile from Coliseum/Oakland Bay Area Rapid Transit Oakland Airport.
