摘要: Acupuncture in Oriental medicine has been widely used as a core therapeutic method due to its minimal side-effects and efficacy. However, the electrical response acupuncture stimulation (ERAS) not clearly studied under conditions that might affect efficacy of therapy. In this study, ERAS was objectively investigated by measuring meridian electric potentials (MEPs) when grounding operator subject were varied, insulation needle varied. MEPs between Sang-geoheo (ST37) Ha-geoheo (ST39) Stomach Meridian (ST) measured stimulating Jok-samni (ST36) with an needle. For non-insulated (NIAS), average MEP peak 148.6 +/- 20.6 neither nor electrically grounded, 23.1 8.8 only 348 76.8 19.9 4.7 both grounded. The presented various magnitudes patterns depending on conditions. pattern very similar charge discharge capacitor. insulated (IAS), 20 4 all conditions, which is significant for stimulation. terms electricity, study verified therapy be affected such (1) condition (2)
