摘要: A major proportion of basic cause for human cancer has been linked to widespread environmental pollutants including analogs polyarenes. Search an effective therapy can be started with the understanding generation such "carcinogens" and their biological interactions. This review is discuss syntheses, structural activities, mechanistic studies polyarenes as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), azaarenes (PAAs) thia-analogs (PASH). It also summarizes mechanism mutagenicity tumorigenicity via metabolic interventions producing diol epoxide complexes eventually formation DNA adducts. suggests that inhibition oxidative reactions diols epoxides unspecific intracellular activation cytochrome P450 enzymes could approaches in against tumorigenicity. Thus, this reflects molecular mechanisms activations along a clinical translational medicine approach would require achieving both prevention treatment atrocity.
