摘要: The present invention relates to a copolymer comprising units derived from monomers (i) an α-olefin and (ii) ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid or derivatives thereof esterified with primary alcohol branched at the β- higher position, wherein has reduced specific viscosity of up 0.08. further provides for lubricating composition containing said copolymer. method use controlling index by supplying oil pendant groups. In addition, may be useful as base replacement.
