摘要: Background and Objective: The recognition the assessment of carotid intimal thickness helps in predicting risk cardiovascular events Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infected patients who are on Antiretroviral Therapy (ART). objective this study was to assess compare HIV positive individuals were anti-retroviral therapy with not therapy. Subjects Methods: All 20 years old above, had been diagnosed by National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) guidelines included study. diabetes mellitus hypertension excluded from subjects divided into 2 groups i.e. therapy. be for a minimum 6 months them first group. data collected using semi structured, pre-tested proforma, which demographic details, duration infection, details antiretroviral treatment, history smoking/ alcohol consumption assessments metabolic syndrome.
