摘要: The present invention provides an efficient method for near-unity sampling rate alteration in high performance applications, such as CD to DAT conversion. Specifically, the input digital signal is first interpolated by a factor of eight and lowpass filtered form intermediate signal. A clamped cubic spline interpolator (CCSI) algorithm then employed accurately interpolate points in-between adjacent samples required 48 kHz output rate. CCSI highly accurate due derivative estimates arrived at repeated Richardson extrapolation. In example converter covered detail, fourth order extrapolation employed. It shown this that proposed yields desired performance, computationally requires little storage.
