摘要: Increased enzymatic activity of calcium-activated neutral protease II (CANP II) has been reported previously in cardiac tissues rats with 2 kidney, 1 clip Goldblatt hypertension (2K, 1C-HT); this was associated elevated intracellular free Ca(++). Because it suggested that increased levels the enzyme were responsible for enhanced activity, CANP mRNA expression assessed cardiomyocytes isolated from 2K, 1C-HT and a genetic model hypertension, spontaneously hypertensive rat (SHR). Utilizing rabbit probe large subunit (pLM 1006 cDNA), 3.7 kilobase band visualized Northern blots poly A+ RNA. Densitometric analysis revealed there significant (p < 0.005) increase when compared controls. Interestingly, comparable SHR Wistar Kyoto (WKY) rats. Results nuclear runoff transcription assays indicated hearts regulated at transcriptional level. The data support specific gene activation renal
