摘要: We developed the Blooming Biology Tool (BBT), an assessment tool based on Bloom’s Taxonomy, to assist science faculty in better aligning their assessments with teaching activities and help students enhance study skills metacognition. The work presented here shows how tools, such as BBT, can be used guide student learning a discipline-specific manner postsecondary education. BBT was first designed extensively tested for which we ranked almost 600 questions from college life exams standardized tests. then implemented three different collegiate settings. Implementation of helped us adjust our students’ current mastery material, design at higher cognitive levels, studying college-level writing levels Taxonomy. From this also created suite complementary tools that biology creating classroom materials appropriate level Taxonomy successfully develop answer require higher-order skills.
