摘要: Of the approximately 3.5 million infants born alive in United States each year, 4–6% enter neonatal critical care nurseries. The majority is admitted either for major congenital anomalies or low birth weight. Recent advances maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology have contributed to dramatic decreases mortality morbidity. Therefore, a child with weight much more likely survive today.
