摘要: A novel bar code and optical reader for scanning the same. The consists of two parallel channels marks spaces representing bit sequences, a given in one sequence being associated with other sequence, forming successive pairs. data is encoded logical exclusive-or combination An alternating clock scheme further used to encode data, which limits width any mark or space twice minimum width. includes detectors connected microprocessor records time intervals between mark/space transitions each channel. These are reconstruct sequences channel; may then be correlated XOR operation performed, yielding data.
