摘要: Abstract A new simple, very sensitive, selective and accurate procedure for the determination of trace amounts thallium(III) by solid-phase spectrophotometry (SPS) has been developed. The is based on fixation Tl(III) as quinalizarin ion associate a styrene–divinylbenzene anion-exchange resin. absorbance resin sorbed measured directly at 636 830 nm. Thallium(I) was determined difference measurements after oxidation Tl(I) to with bromine. Calibration linear over range 0.5–12.0 μg L −1 relative standard deviation (RSD) 1.40% ( n = 10). detection quantification limits are 150 495 ng L using 0.6 g exchanger. molar absorptivity Sandell sensitivity also calculated found be 1.31 × 10 7 L mol cm 0.00156 ng cm −2 , respectively. proposed successfully applied determine thallium in water, urine serum samples.
