摘要: Abstract The effect of leakage on the acoustic performance reactive silencers, such as expansion chambers, Helmholtz resonators, and quarter–wave are analytically experimentally investigated. impact size location circular holes transmission loss silencers explored in absence mean flow. One-dimensional analysis perforation impedance theory applied for predictions with without leakage. experimental results measured by an tube setup compared predictions. indicate that one-dimensional analytical approach is effective prediction behavior considered this study. For chamber, insignificant limited to very low frequencies. at cavity resonator shifts resonance higher frequencies lower magnitude. Unlike chamber cavity, part side branch hardly changes resonator.
