摘要: The relative locations of several chromosomes within wheel-shaped prometaphase chromosome rosettes human fibroblasts and HeLa cells were determined with fluorescence hybridization. Homologs consistently positioned on opposite sides the rosette, which suggests that are separated into two haploid sets, each derived from one parent. rosette mapped by dual hybridizations. data suggest orders sets antiparallel. This arrangement in appears to be both independent cell type- species-specific may influence topology throughout cycle.
