摘要: Background Reduced coronary flow reserve (CFR) in hypercholesterolemic patients without evidence of ischemia has been reported. However, it remains uncertain whether this abnormality occurs overt atherosclerosis. This study aimed to clarify CFR is impaired even anatomically normal arteries and compare between familial (FH) secondary (SH) patients. Methods Results Twenty-two with hypercholesterolemia (11 FH, 11 SH) control subjects were studied. Baseline myocardial blood (MBF) MBF during dipyridamole loading measured segments perfused by angiographically the use positron emission tomography 13N-ammonia, was calculated. (mL/min per 100 g heart wt) FH (81.3±31.4) SH (70.0±20.7) not different from that (75.0±34.9). significantly lower (129±19.1) than (322±174, P <.01) (210±71.2, <.01). (1.59±0.41) also compared both (4.22±1.42, (3.00±0.96, ( <.05). correlated plasma total cholesterol r =.67, LDL concentrations =.69, <.01). Conclusions decreased patients. more prominent
