摘要: High-protein diets have been shown to alleviate detrimental effects of high-fat and this effect can be partially mimicked by dietary l-leucine supplementation. Here, we aimed elucidate the early mechanisms specificity leucine effects. We performed a 1-week trial with male C57BL/6 mice fed ad libitum semisynthetic containing an adequate (10 % w/w, AP) or high (50 HP) amount whey protein, supplemented corresponding content within HP diet (Leu) equimolar l-alanine (Ala). Food water intake were monitored continuously using computer-controlled monitor system body composition changes assessed quantitative NMR. completely prevented AP-induced accumulation fat. Leu Ala resulted in similar reduction fat which was intermediate between AP HP. There no significant on plasma glucose insulin. Triacylglycerol gene expression lipogenesis enzymes liver as well cholesterol reduced compared again showing Body gain triacylglycerols strongly correlated total energy intake. Water rapidly increased feeding amino nitrogen concluded that positive high-protein metabolic syndrome associated traits are acutely due satiety possibly linked subsequent suppression without evidence for specific effect.
