摘要: Quantitative infrared oculographic study of horizontal pursuit in young and elderly normal subjects showed significantly lower smooth velocities the when tracking triangular waveform targets 20 degrees amplitude at 10 degrees/sec over. Latencies for initiation eye movements were prolonged older subjects. The reduced velocity responses system indicate that diagnosis abnormal must be qualified by age patient. Smooth is an age-dependent motor system.
