摘要: With the number of people with visual impairments (e.g., low vision and blind) continuing to increase, loss has become one most challenging disabilities. Today, haptic technology, using an alternative sense vision, is deemed important component for effectively accessing information systems. The appropriately designed assistive technology critical those adopt access information, which will facilitate their tasks in personal professional life. However, existing design approaches are inapplicable inappropriate such contexts as users interacting non-graphical user interfaces (i.e., technology). To resolve challenges, present study modified a participatory approach PICTIVE, Plastic Interface Collaborative Technology Initiatives Video Exploration) be applicable technologies, by considering brain plasticity theory. touch integrated into activity PICTIVE.
