摘要: We have developed a resource-based relative-value scale as an alternative to the system of payment based on charges for physicians' services. Resource inputs by physicians include (1) total work input performed physician each service; (2) practice costs, including malpractice premiums; and (3) cost specialty training. These factors were combined produce denominated in nonmonetary units. describe here process which physician's was defined estimated. The study asked two questions: What is service performed? Can be estimated reliably validly? concluded that has four major dimensions: time, mental effort judgment, technical skill physical effort, psychological stress. found can rate relative amount services within their directly, taking into account all dimensions work. Moreover, these ratings are highly reproducible, consistent, therefore probably valid.
