摘要: There has been a growing interest in wire antennas loaded with resonant traps, i.e, RLC circuits, because of their low profile and broadband characteristics. The wide bandwidth which can be 15:1 or greater, allows frequency hopping without electronic switching, the use simultaneous transmit-receive modes operation. Typically, structure consists one more segments that are parallel single matching network at feed point. genetic algorithm (GA) was used to develop numerically efficient procedure for designing these employed monopole, twin whip, folded monopole type antennas. In designs, GA optimize loads, then locations, parameters network. efficiently optimizes all system simultaneously, using only moderate amount CPU time. It evaluates large number antenna designs developed through evolution, gradually improves them respect objective function. function is related, turn, quantities we wish optimize, e.g., gain VSWR. paper presents some new improved characteristics than those previously reported literature. comprise four identical arms branch off central stem.
