摘要: The effect of intravenous and intracameral ouabain on aqueous humor (AH) formation rates was measured in cats. AH rate determined with continuous, posteroanterior chamber perfusion an AH-like buffer containing trace quantities inulin-C JJ> . After injection 67 fig per kilogram, there a 40 cent reduction rate, while 34 kilogram caused 26 reduction. There no change after 10 kilogram. In other experiments, ouabain-containing substituted for the control period. No noted 10-*M, 10~ 6 M, or s M ouabain. It is concluded that high doses significantly decrease rates, probably by inhibition ciliary body Na-K activated adenosine triphosphatase. low
