摘要: The relationship between the fluorescence lifetime (tau) and yield (Phi) obtained in phase modulation fluorometry at 54 MHz during chlorophyll induction dark-adapted leaves under low actinic light has been investigated. Three typical phases have identified: (i) linear OI photochemical rise, (ii) convex curvature subsequent IP thermal (iii) PS slow decay. A similar for measured 685 nm plotted versus 735 nm. spectrally resolved analysis shows that of tau-Phi is not due to reabsorption effects. Several other hypotheses are discussed we conclude a variable transitory nonphotochemical quenching. We tentatively propose this quenching results from conformational change pigment-protein complex Photosystem II core antenna could explain both spectral temporal changes fluorescence. blue shift peak spectrum observed, supporting hypothesis.
