Adaptive control of power factor correction converter using nonlinear system identification

摘要: PID controllers have been very successful in industrial applications. However, for nonlinear processes, their performances are not satisfactory. Conventional active power factor correction (PFC) converters use classical PI to carry out output voltage regulation and correction. Since the process is highly nonlinear, an adaptive controller has developed improve performance of PFC converters. An orthogonal least squares estimation algorithm was incorporated identification boost A parsimonious model obtained based on prediction error reduction ratio test. The mean then implemented online tracking system parameters derived fitted model. Experimental studies were carried demonstrate effectiveness proposed control harmonic elimination.
