摘要: Stereophotogrammetric evaluations of the optic cup were performed for normal, ocular hypertensive, and glaucomatous eyes. Average volume, area, depth measurements progressively larger from normal to hypertensive eyes, although distributions individual values exhibited considerable overlap among three groups. Similar results obtained asymmetry between each pair None these was able distinguish accurately cups. However, eyes showed a high correlation (r = +0.85) area cup, whereas this area/depth relationship reduced in hypertensives +0.63) completely broke down +0.04). Approximately 89% 47% beyond range values. These findings represent an improvement over most previous attempts quantitatively differentiate on basis disc alone, support hypothesis that damage usually precedes visual field loss glaucoma. With further technical refinements such as computer image processing, stereophotogrammetry may become valuable differential diagnostic technique
