摘要: OBJECTIVE The aims of this study were to evaluate whether the presence -2518A/G polymorphism in distal regulatory region monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1) was associated with tuberculosis (TB) Chongqing Han population and find it has a significant impact on pediatric patient. METHOD One hundred children [ < or = 15 years old, mean age (7.3+/-4.6) years, 53 male, 47 female] one adults [51 49 female, (44.6+/-13.5) TB] 200 healthy controls comparable screened for genotype by PCR-sequence-specific primer (SSP) method. MCP-1 levels sera detected ELISA. RESULT (1) TB patients showed different single nucleotide (SNP) distribution patterns (58%, 36%). alleles -2518G increased susceptibility (P<0.01). (2) -2518 GG genotypes (32% 13% non-TB respectively, P<0.01). (3) odds developing higher than those homozygous AA, risk adult (7.0-fold 5.1-fold adults, respectively). (4) Cases had highest plasma MCP-1, which likelihood TB. Furthermore, observed adults. CONCLUSION These findings suggest that persons bearing produce high concentrations increases active infection people. are more child
